I have just returned from a very wet morning in the field. The dew was extremely heavy, literally soaking me to the skin. I was positive the pre-sunrise light would gift me with many shots from which to choose that magical image...but the wild variety just wasn't there. After walking for an hour and a half, however, I did find something that caught my eye - a seeding thistle. There were thistle plants everywhere but this one was bursting with seeds. The challenge was to then find order in all of this chaos. After many set ups to find the right composition, I saw what I wanted. Hopefully it won't be 47 days until my next discovery.
